At the recent meeting of the Church Council, Hope Global Methodist Church (HGMC) a significant motion was presented. This motion was based upon the foundational biblical doctrine that the church should practice what it teaches about the practice of “tithing.” in love and respect to God’s 100% ownership of all things He created. Therefore, the motion presented was that 10% of all undesignated income will be set aside for the financial support of our mission outreach in the local community, regional area, and global outreach as well as our connectional giving through the Mid Texas Annual Conference and the Global Methodist Church. This motion as presented was unanimously passed by the members of the Church Council, HGMC.

India Mission Initiatives
Hope GMC is in an ongoing partnership with the Gujarat Regional Conference of the India Methodist Church. Ministries supported include scholarships for students at the Methodist Bible Seminary in Vasad; a children’s hostel; an eldercare facility; and the Methodist School of Nursing in Nadiad.
